Our Philosophy

Temple Funding Mission:

To provide law firms with industry-leading funding solutions and enable their delivery of ‘access to justice’.

Temple Funding Vision:

Consistently deliver best in class funding and service to the legal sector, reducing the financial barriers of litigation for law firms and their clients.

Regulation

Temple Funding is fully authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). This ensures that you, your firm and your client are working with a reputable business which adheres to all financial services legislation and regulation and offers transparency, protection and security.

As a solicitor, you personally are regulated as well as your law firm; at Temple Funding we believe you are entitled to work with similarly regulated companies and should expect the same security for your client.

Clarity

We work hard to ensure a clear distinction between insurance policies and the cost of funding. We guarantee that the full costs of borrowing are discreet and identifiable from the outset. This means that you can provide unambiguous options for your client with which they can make an informed decision.

Funding without ATE insurance is high risk

Options for disbursement funding include credit cards and business overdrafts. The risk with this is that neither are covered in the event of an unsuccessful case. ATE insurance from Temple Legal Protection in partnership with Royal & Sun Alliance covers disbursements and opponent’s costs in these circumstances. It doesn’t question your judgment, it provides peace of mind.

Client care

In order for a lawyer to advise a client upon the best funding option for them it is necessary to fully explore the client’s means and to explain clearly what the potential cost of the disbursement funding product is. At Temple Funding, we commit to class leading service and transparent products so you will always be able to give your client the best advice.
